The Cruise Critic Awards for 2009 – Royal Caribbean Tops as Best Family Cruise Line
Royal Caribbean won the award for best family cruise line and Carnival won in the category of best for first-time cruisers in Cruise Critic annual editors’ picks awards.
Royal Caribbean’s Freedom Class of ships also won the awards for best cruises for kids and best for teens.
Best Buffet and Best Main Dining went to Carnival.
Other awards went to NCL-Courtyard Villas for Best Big Ship Suites; Best for Fitness Enthusiasts went to Royal Caribbean, Best for Adventure went to Lindblad Expeditions and Disney’s Castaway Cay was named the best private island.
