The summer has kicked into high gear. The temperatures are rising and  resorts are offering rates dramatically cheaper than previous seasons. The traditional resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico are certainly becoming a great buy for big families.

Club Med

Club Med has become a great all-inclusive family vacation with resorts around the world. They cater to families with children as young as 2-3 (Petit Club Med) throught to teens (Club Med passworld). Nothing is imposed, “with freedom through exclusivity” they call it.

This summer they are offering the family WOW vacations, with all-inclusive family vacation package rate from $99/pp per night. An exclusive 7-night stay with an oceanview suite starts at $1,398. These rates apply to certain mexican, caribbean and florida resorts.

Beaches

An exclusive Sesame Street arrangement means great opportunities for kids to eat and play with their favorite friends, from dinner with Elmo to staged shows and weekly parades with other Sesame Street characters. Beaches properties also offer Crayola Art camps, water parks (at Beaches Negril and Boscobel in Jamaica, with 1 coming soon to Beaches Turks and Caicos), water sports, multiple swimming pools (including kids-only pools), kids camps run by certified “ultra nannies,” luxury family suites that sleep up to 5 people (Beaches Boscobel and Turks and Caicos) and a “Rockin’ teen disco” (Beaches Boscobel).

According to Budget Travel Beaches is “hosting a summer sale with discounts of 55 to 65 percent off of normal rates, meaning you’ll pay as little as $113 per person per night—all-inclusive, of course. And these discounts can be combined with free night offers (generally two nights free with stays of seven nights or longer), so you can get even more for your money.”
